Appointed in February 2019, Ms. Hill holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Toronto and McMaster University Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, and has extensive experience working with indigenous communities and consulting on matters regarding First Nations. Most recently, Ms. Hill has served with the Ontario Association of Children’s Aid Societies as a Director of Aboriginal Services where she helped design and implement new structures and resources to better address the child welfare and educational needs of indigenous children and families.

She is also a Clinical Investigator for the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General Office of the Children’s Lawyer.
