Troubling allegations made tonight in the media in reference to pre-amalgamation Blue Water Bridge Authority activities are outside of The Federal Bridge Corporation Limited (FBCL) scope.
On February 1, 2015, as directed through Canadian federal legislation, FBCL was amalgamated with the Blue Water Bridge Authority among others, in order to bring under one portfolio the federal interest in international bridges, including the Blue Water Bridge in Point Edward, between Ontario and Michigan.
FBCL cannot be held responsible or comment on actions of amalgamated legacy corporations prior to the February 1, 2015, amalgamation date.
