Rick Talvitie is an Ontario professional civil engineer with 31 years of experience in the consulting engineering industry where he has held progressive leadership roles culminating in the Manager of AECOM’s northern Ontario water business line operations. His focus throughout his career has been in the planning, design, procurement, management and oversight of transportation and community infrastructure projects.
Rick held Director roles from 2008 to 2015 with the St. Mary’s River Bridge Company (SMRBC), the former owner of the Canadian portion of the International Bridge that links Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan and the Joint International Bridge Authority (JIBA) which provides operational and policy direction for the management and operation of the Sault Ste. Marie international bridge.
