The Sault Ste. Marie International Bridge U.S. toll plaza reconstruction project was honored with a Merit Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies of Michigan (ACEC).
As part of an international agreement and oversight arrangement between FBCL and its U.S. partner (Michigan Department of Transportation), FBCL is proud to have shared in the successful completion of this project. FBCL contributed financially 50% of the $8.9M total cost for the construction in 2015. Furthermore, it provided oversight as part of its role on the SSMBA Board of Directors and our engineering and finance departments provided peer support during the initiative.
